On the final night of the cruise, our waiter, Jimmy, took Katie around the dining room with him. She was so very taken with him and when it came time for him to pass him back to us, she refused! We finally had to "force" her to come to us and say goodbye to him. Posted by Picasa

By this point in the day, we'd all had our fill of Cozumel. It was hot and sticky and we couldn't find a suitable place to grab a cold drink. All the "fun" places like Senor Frog and Carlos & Charlies were too loud and smokey, so we ended up taking a cab back to the ship and going for another dunk in the pool. Posted by Picasa

We thought Katie could use a break from the stroller so we let her run around in this garden area for a while. She had fun pointing out all the flowers and plants. We snapped about a dozen photos, but figured we'd only post our favorite shot. Posted by Picasa

Tyler, Chris, Katie and Krista at Ponchos Backyard in Cozumel. Katie devoured the better part of my cheese quesadillas and drank so much water we were sure she'd float away. That's a wall hanging behind Chris's head, not a funky hat. Posted by Picasa

Tyler devours his lobster while Grampa looks on. I'm pretty sure this is not the proper way to eat lobster! Posted by Picasa

Big brother Tyler feeling satisfied after his "mocktail"...a cherry Coke, which we normally don't let him have. We thought it might make up for forcing him into a shirt and tie. Posted by Picasa

Katie and Daddy in the "real" pool. The water was a little chilly, but she loved floating around in the water in her Dad's arms. Posted by Picasa

Our bathing beauty. Posted by Picasa

We took Katie up to play in the wading area of the pool on the ship. Again, we weren't technically supposed to have a non-potty-trained child in the pool, but no one seemed to mind. She had such fun splashing around and looked so sweet in her swimsuit. Posted by Picasa

Tyler purchase a wooden "map" of Jamaica when the guys went ashore in Ocho Rios while the ladies stayed on she ship for Katie's nap. The guys were taken on a backstage tour of the slums by a taxi driver who told them he'd take them to see the plantation. Instead, they ended up buying baby formula for a man begging on the street and paying the cab drvier way to much for the tour. Posted by Picasa

A photo of the Royal Promenade, which was actually a pretty cool set-up. It has shops and bars and restaurants all along it and is several stories high. There are actually rooms that look out onto it, but I can't imagine staying in one--they have parades and live entertainment, and that must be soooo loud at night. Posted by Picasa

In the evenings before dinner, we would usually meet up at Vintages, the wine bar located in the "Royal Promenade". They had a vintage car parked out front that Katie just loved playing in and around. Posted by Picasa

At the end of the day, we had to give our girl a good scrubbing off in the shower. The sunscreen mixed with her baby shampoo to make kind of a paste on her head that was nearly impossible to get off, and we practically needed a pressure-washer to get the sand out of her nooks and crannies. Posted by Picasa

Katie couldn't figure out how the water kept shooting out of the ground, but had fun trying to "catch" it. Posted by Picasa

There was a small splash park set up on Labadee that Katie got to go in with her Dad. Technically, they don't allow diapers, but no one said anything to us, and she had a ball playing in the water. Posted by Picasa

Just the four (five?) of us. Posted by Picasa

Tyler snorkeling. In three feet of water. I wish I could tell you I was kidding, but he didn't seem to have much interest in venturing out further. Posted by Picasa
