Another view on 11/20. You can see the temporary sink set-up and the overhead lighting, which is now recessed and will all be on dimmer switches. Posted by Picasa

The kitchen project as of 11/20. We now have walls and overhead lighting again! The floor was ripped up the previous weekend and the sink was put into it's new place (new sink base, old sink for now). Next weekend, the cabinets go in! Posted by Picasa

Krista and Krista (second and third from the left) out on the town for Ladies Night in St. Augustine. We were celebrating our birthdays, which are three days apart. The other three girls are Sammi (on the far left), Shawna, and Carly (on the far right)--Krista P's childhood friends. Posted by Picasa

The view from the dining room November 6th. What a difference it makes to be able to see into the kitchen from the living room! Posted by Picasa

The wall between the kitchen and the dining room came down Nov. 6th and the eat-in-counter framing was done. Posted by Picasa

The kitchen at the end of the day November 5th. The new header was installed and the power to the stove was accidentally cut. I have not had a stove since then. Let's just say we've been ordering a LOT of pizza. Posted by Picasa

More of Katie and the mirror. Posted by Picasa

Katie flirting with the baby in the mirror. Check out that smile! Posted by Picasa

Chris working on the kitchen. This was the first weekend in November and we still had the sink, the stove, and the fridge. This is the view from the fireplace room. Posted by Picasa

Katie trying to steal some Halloween candy. I just love her version of "plumber butt". Posted by Picasa

Another shot through the screen. Posted by Picasa

She was looking out the dining room windown this morning and Tyler stepped outside to surprise her. She was so tickled to see him on the other side of the window. Posted by Picasa

Katie checking out Tyler's Halloween haul. Posted by Picasa

Her third tooth has broken through up top and the fourth tooth is pressing on the gums pretty hard, so she's all drool right now, and her tongue is most often hanging out of her mouth like this. Posted by Picasa

Our little Buckeye cheerleader all dressed for Halloween. She's doing her devil impersonation here. You should have seen it before I edited out the red eyes! Posted by Picasa

Katie is riding "Kumba", a rocking horse that used to be Tyler's when he was much younger. Posted by Picasa

Katie is getting much better at walking behind her walker. We still have to stay close by, as it sometimes shoots out too far ahead of her. Posted by Picasa

And this past weekend, the pantry became a thing of the past. The contents of the pantry have been relocated to the master bedroom for now. Posted by Picasa

You can see where the big window used to be, and now the half wall is also missing--the entrance to the kitchen will eventually be in it's place. Posted by Picasa

Chris and Jeff take a break before heading back to work. I'm standing in our new "open air" kitchen. Posted by Picasa
